Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment including skid steers, manlifts, forklifts, and water trucks while adhering to all safety, environmental, and health regulations. Inspect tools and machinery for defects, document work hours, and maintain equipment cleanliness using chemical supplies. Sweep, dust, and mop work areas, stock supply rooms, and perform lockout/tagout procedures. Communicate with the central maintenance team and shadow coworkers to learn daily routines. Assist departments as needed and complete other assigned duties. This role supports the entire plant at voestalpine Texas LLC.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Knowledge of heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies and the use for different equipment
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years operating heavy equipment (Cranes, Excavators, Skidsteer, Dozers, Manlifts, etc.)
