Job Summary
The Journeyman Electrician 1 (J1) is responsible for the installation, alteration, and repair of electrical systems and associated materials. Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, bending, and installing electrical conduit, terminating electrical devices, and reading blueprints. J1's will demonstrate a working knowledge of circuiting and perform basic troubleshooting. Candidates must have 5-7 years of experience in electrical construction, be equipped with necessary tools, and possess the ability to learn and work safely with a team. This role may involve working at heights, in varied weather, and requires physical capability to manipulate equipment and materials.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience performing electrical construction in commercial and/or industrial environments
- Equipped with all tools required by company policy
- Demonstrate the Amteck Way in daily work activities
- Able to work project schedules including weekends and overtime
- Demonstrate a team-player mentality
- Possess basic mechanical aptitude and mathematical ability
- Willingness to participate in field training
