Job Summary
Lead and manage Industrial Security for Applied Signal Technology at the Anaheim Hills site, providing oversight, implementation, and sustainment of contractual security requirements under CFR 32 Part 117, ICD-705, and DoDM 5205.07. Hire, guide, and develop a security team to ensure a compliant program that supports business objectives across AST sites. Travel up to 10% (domestic). Key responsibilities include self-inspections, program leadership, and coordination with government security databases (DISS, NISS, SIMS, JADE). Requires university degree or equivalent, 8+ years of relevant security experience (or 5+ with advanced degree), and active TS/SCI clearance with U.S. citizenship. Onsite role with a salary range of 118,300–224,900 USD; benefits and employment terms described by RTX. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits and incentive programs depending on business unit and collective-bargaining agreements.
Required Qualifications
- University Degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree in related field (optional)
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or 5 years with advanced degree
- 6 years of experience leading and executing security processes in classified environments
- Subject matter expertise in industrial security program management
- Extensive knowledge of ICD 705, 32 CFR Part 117, DoDM 5205.07, DISS, NISS, SIMS, JADE
- Experience conducting self-inspections of varying complexity
- Experience in leadership/managerial duties (performance development, coaching, mentoring, training, budgeting)
- Active and transferable TS/SCI government security clearance required prior to start
- U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility
- COMSECOPSEC experience (preferred)
- Industrial Security Professional certification (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
