Job Summary
Industrial Security Guard responsible for welcoming visitors, verifying identification, providing guidance, and maintaining excellent customer service; perform entry/exit access control using electronic or physical checks; conduct regular interior and exterior patrols; perform mobile patrols; monitor CCTV and security systems; document maintenance and incident reports; respond to incidents, provide first aid when required, and coordinate with emergency responders; secure doors and enforce regulations; protect client assets; maintain professional relationships with staff and act as first point of contact during emergencies; require authorisation to work in Canada and possess strong communication and driving credentials; comprehensive benefits and ongoing education opportunities through GardaWorld Academy.
Required Qualifications
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- First aid certification an asset
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
- Full Saskatchewan Driving license ( min past 12 months)
- Clear driving abstract ( past 12 months)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience as a Security guard in a high profile site (asset)
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a stressful environment
