Job Summary
Coordinate daily security activities with program CPSOs and customers as the Alternate Contractor Program Security Officer. Create and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders while supporting security education classes and related briefings. Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive actions, ensuring compliance with government policy and directives. Participate in security compliance audits and self-inspections to uphold program standards. This role supports a fast-paced portfolio of multiple classified programs at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, requiring collaboration with security peers and program management teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of Industrial Security or relevant experience
- Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and polygraph
- In-scope investigation closed within last 6 years or current enrollment in Continuous Evaluation (CE) program
- Familiarity with the NISPOM, ICD 705, ICD 704
- Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, security peers and program management team members
- Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, make decisions in the midst of ambiguity, and meet deadlines
- Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledgeable of SIMS and DISS databases
- Completion of ICD 705 training
- U.S. Citizenship
