Job Summary
Support a fast-paced, high-profile program by creating and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers. Study and implement company and federal security policies, obtain rulings from government agencies, and manage compliance across functions including SCIF administration, COMSEC, and investigations. Develop security education programs, conduct internal audits, and ensure adherence to contractual guidance for classified programs. Provide personnel security support by reviewing documentation for SCI and SAP nominations, maintaining databases, and administering indoctrination. Administer facility security documentation, perform self-inspections, and manage intrusion detection systems. Perform duties as a Top-Secret Control Officer to maintain accountability of classified materials.
Required Qualifications
- Active U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance approval prior to onboarding
- Knowledge and familiarity with CFR 32 part 117 (NISPOM)
- Knowledge and familiarity with Joint Air Force, Army, and Navy (JAFAN)
- Knowledge and familiarity with DoDM 5205.07
- Knowledge and familiarity with Intelligence Community Directives (ICD)
- Knowledge and familiarity with DoD Manuals
- Experience with Desktop Computer
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
- Detail-oriented mindset
- Meticulous record-keeping ability
- Responsibility for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional experience (Level 3)
- Master's degree with 3 years of professional experience (Level 3)
- Additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree (Level 3)
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of professional experience (Level 4)
- Master's degree with 6 years of professional experience (Level 4)
- PhD with 4 years of professional experience (Level 4)
- Additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree (Level 4)
- U.S. Citizenship
- 10% travel time
- 100% onsite work location
- Ability to review and process required documentation in support of SCI and SAP nomination processes
- Ability to maintain PERSEC databases
- Ability to prepare and administer program indoctrination and debriefings
- Ability to access, review, and submit clearance and access information using appropriate government database and other information systems
- Ability to implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Ability to conduct SCI and SAP security program self-inspections
- Ability to obtain customer accreditation in accordance with SCI and SAP DoD Manuals, ICD, ICS Tech Spec, and other government requirements
- Ability to manage and maintain UL-2050 Compliant Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
- Ability to manage and maintain automated Access Control Systems (ACS)
- Ability to perform the duties of a Top-Secret Control Officer (TSCO)
- Ability to maintain accountability of classified materials
- Ability to create, maintain, and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers
- Ability to study and implement company and federal security policies, regulations, and procedures
- Ability to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
- Ability to manage program security compliance and operations across multiple functions
- Ability to develop and implement a security education and awareness program
- Ability to conduct internal security audits
- Ability to investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken
- Ability to ensure adherence to contractual guidance for classified programs and cleared facilities
- Ability to assist program managers and professional staff in interpreting, applying, and complying with program Security Classification Guides (SCG)
- Ability to provide facility security administration, documentation, and support
- Ability to build construction projects to include obtaining customer accreditation
- Ability to manage and maintain Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
- Ability to manage and maintain Access Control Systems (ACS)
- Ability to perform the duties of a Top-Secret Control Officer (TSCO)
- Ability to maintain accountability of classified materials
Desired Qualifications
- Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) experience working within a SCIF or SAPF
- DCID 6/4 or ICD 704 eligibility in DISS
- Active TS/SCI with a current Polygraph
- Experience with SIMS
- Experience with Government Security Databases (JADE)
