Industrial Scrap Metal Operations Manager

Supervise multiple shift operations to ensure efficient, safe receipt, handling, storage, and shipping of scrap metals at a single Green Metals production facility. Select, train, and supervise employees across shifts while directing Group Leaders who oversee individual shifts. Oversee equipment including mobile cranes, overhead cranes, forklifts, baler machines, shredders, and OTR CDL-required transportation. Coordinate inbound and outbound scrap haulers and rail cars, track volumes, and direct sorting and placement of materials. Lead continuous improvement by establishing work instructions and maintaining compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory safety and environmental requirements. Provide production data for budgeting and reporting, assist with customer service issues, and maintain security programs.
