Job Summary
Conduct deep cleaning and sanitation of food manufacturing equipment and production areas, including disassembling, inspecting, and reassembling systems. Operate and monitor CIP and COP cleaning systems while verifying chemical concentrations and sanitation effectiveness. Complete sanitation logs, CIP documentation, and required records accurately, following the Master Cleaning Schedule and GMP requirements. Troubleshoot basic sanitation equipment issues, operate material handling equipment, and train new team members on sanitation procedures and food safety practices. Maintain a safe, organized work area while adhering to OSHA guidelines. Perform these duties during the first shift, Monday through Friday, earning $27-$30/hr.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of manufacturing, industrial, or food production experience
- Ability to read and complete production documentation accurately
- Strong communication skills and ability to help train new employees
- Understanding of GMP, food safety, and workplace safety practices
- Comfortable working around production equipment, cleaning chemicals, and wet environments
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work throughout an active manufacturing shift
Desired Qualifications
- Previous industrial sanitation or food manufacturing experience
- Experience working with CIP/COP systems
- Food manufacturing or beverage production
- Industrial sanitation
- Dairy, bakery, frozen foods, meat processing, or similar food processing environments
- Forklift or material handling equipment experience
- SCADA or automated manufacturing systems experience
