Job Summary
Operate industrial blasting equipment to prepare steel components for painting and finishing; inspect parts before and after blasting to ensure quality standards; assist with industrial painting and coating operations as needed; move materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists (training provided); complete production paperwork and job tracking documentation; follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements; support other shop operations as needed; other duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to safely wear blasting and respiratory PPE
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, climb, reach, and work in a manufacturing environment
- Successfully pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical.
