Job Summary
Industrial Sales Territory Representative selling industrial equipment within an assigned territory. Responsibilities include managing, calling on, and selling to customers; prospecting and maintaining quality accounts; achieving sales goals through action plans; preparing quotes, proposals, pricing, and credit terms; handling customer service and follow-up; presenting sales materials at events and conferences; staying current on products and markets; developing knowledge through training; and producing activity and performance reports. Requires strong communication and organizational skills, ability to analyze business needs, and a self-directed work style. Remote role based in Madison, WI with field and travel activities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year degree in engineering, business, or marketing preferred or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of direct sales experience or customer service experience in industrial equipment sales preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Valid driver's license
