Job Summary
Industrial Sales Representative in Anchorage, AK responsible for managing and growing the assigned municipal sales territory through phone, email, and in-person visits; develop a sales growth plan using the CRM (Dynamics); cultivate new business from existing accounts and engineering firms, participate in trade shows, and deliver superior customer service while expanding knowledge of industrial pump equipment and electrical components. The role requires field sales activity with frequent local travel and occasional non-local travel for factory training and sales meetings, collaborating with service technicians and internal teams to meet sales goals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years successful sales experience
- Experience selling in the industrial equipment industry within municipal markets
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred
- Strong Math, Science or Engineering background
- Ability to work autonomously, and as a team; self-motivated
- Must possess and maintain a safe driving record
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and motor vehicle report
- Proven history of being reliable and dependable; ability to perform work with minimal to no supervision/ assistance
- Excellent math skills, problem solving, and decision-making skills
