Job Summary
Manage an assigned geographic territory by prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business accounts while maintaining relationships with existing wholesale, retail, and manufacturing clients. Educate customers on product specifications, grading standards, and applications, then monitor industry trends and competitor pricing to optimize sales strategies. Navigate the full sales cycle from initial cold calls and quoting through delivery follow-up, utilizing CRM systems to track pipeline activity. This role requires 2+ years of outside sales experience, ideally in forest products or industrial manufacturing, with the ability to travel overnight throughout the Southeast region. Candidates must possess a clean driving record, reliable transportation, and proficiency in standard computer software, with background checks and drug screens required.
