Job Summary
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair customer equipment in the field while performing preventative maintenance, cleaning, and servicing of industrial and commercial systems. Lead projects involving industrial paint, finishing, filtration, HVAC, and indoor air quality maintenance, and provide technical training and support for customers and technicians. Respond to inquiries regarding equipment repairs, document service work in company systems, and maintain service equipment and tools. Participate in establishing service contracts and support product demonstrations in the lab and field. Maintain a safe work environment while traveling up to 5% with a valid driver's license and forklift operation skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of skilled trades or technical field service experience
- 1 year of experience in a focused application or product line
- 1 year of experience in at least two of the following areas: Industrial finishing or paint systems, Powder coating / finishing, Commercial HVAC, Industrial cleaning systems, Filtration and indoor air quality, Mold remediation or duct cleaning
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
- Experience disassembling, repairing, and reassembling equipment
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals, safety procedures, and service documentation
- Ability to travel up to 5%
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to learn company service systems and maintain equipment records
- Ability to work in environments that may include: Paint and solvent odors, Moving mechanical parts, Electrical equipment, Airborne particles or chemicals
- Ability to walk, climb, stand, stoop, kneel, and bend regularly
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
Desired Qualifications
- Mold and duct cleaning certifications
- Ability to obtain certifications from primary vendors within 6 months (Graco, GEMA, Fanuc, Sames, CFT, etc.)
