Job Summary
Industrial Pump Mechanic / Mechanical Repair Technician needed in Allendale, NJ (with future relocation to Morristown area in 2027) to assemble/disassemble industrial pumps and mechanical equipment, build/test pump systems, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and read blueprints. Direct-hire role offering $55,000–$85,000 plus bonus, plus a comprehensive benefits package including 100% company-paid health insurance for the employee’s family, PTO, retirement plan, and long-term career growth opportunities. Required Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Hands-on experience in industrial, mechanical, automotive, machining, maintenance, or technical environments
- Ability to use hand tools and read technical drawings/blueprints
- Experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, rotating equipment, or shop machinery is a plus
- Familiarity with lathes, mills, band saws, or 3-phase motors is preferred but not required
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Operate hand tools and shop equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship
- Assist with equipment setup, inspections, and testing
