Job Summary
Lead mechanical construction projects in industrial settings (chemical, food & beverage, automotive, oil and gas, and manufacturing) from bid through closeout, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery. Manage field teams and coordinate subcontractors and project documentation; oversee schedules, budgets, profitability, and project accounting; communicate with clients, inspectors, and internal teams; ensure safety and regulatory compliance on all projects. Requires 5+ years of mechanical construction project management experience in industrial environments and a relevant degree, plus a valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Regional travel (15–20%) to industrial job sites.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of mechanical construction project management experience in industrial settings
- High school diploma or GED plus a bachelor’s degree in construction or mechanical engineering
- 5+ years of mechanical trade experience or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of contracts, budgeting, safety, and industrial regulatory requirements
