Job Summary
Industrial Project Manager needed to lead industrial construction projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting complex construction documents and drawings, reviewing and distributing contract documents and shop drawings, originating/responding to RFIs, developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating field staff and subcontractors, enforcing job-site safety, overseeing field supervision and quality, managing submittals and project documentation, and interfacing with clients to negotiate change orders and pursue additional work. The role requires self-motivation, strong communication and time-management skills, extreme attention to detail, and the ability to travel extensively within the region. Preferred knowledge includes self-performed concrete, fabrication, erection, millwright, pipefitting, and familiarity with OSHA/MSHA safety regulations. A four-year engineering or construction management degree is preferred, with at least five years of PM experience in industrial/construction and knowledge of local area and clientele. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year degree in engineering or construction management preferred
- 5 years of project management experience in industrial/construction sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of deep foundations, formed concrete, rigging, erection, millwright work, process piping; OSHA and MSHA safety regulations preferred
