Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate field crews performing conveyor belt installation, splicing, rubber lining, and repair services for mining, oil & gas, and heavy industrial clients. Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and provide technical guidance while ensuring work adheres to project plans, safety requirements, and client specifications. Maintain tools and equipment to minimize downtime and enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies. Mentor team members in safe work practices and assist with troubleshooting conveyor belt system issues. Report daily progress and workforce performance to the Industrial Program Superintendent. This site-based role requires regular presence at client facilities, travel up to 60% of the time, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Five (5) plus years of industrial maintenance experience, with a focus on conveyor belt systems, rubber repair, or process maintenance
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory and/or lead hand experience in mining, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environments
- Valid state driver's license
- Qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the Company's Driving Policy
- Ability to pass drug, driving, and background screening
- Ability to travel for work-related purposes (up to 60% of the time)
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule sometimes including weekends and holidays
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
