Job Summary
As an Industrial Process Improvement Engineer, you will apply industrial engineering, lean, and six sigma principles to enhance operations. You will collaborate with senior management on engineering standards and KPIs, driving accountability and continuous improvement initiatives within the company's logistics and distribution network.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Research, Lean Manufacturing, or a closely related field
- 5-7 years of experience in Operations, Distribution, Logistics, Supply Planning
- Moderate to advanced skills with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook and MS Word
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Lean & Kaizen Methodology
- Experience with network analysis/optimization/design
- Experience in Distribution, Logistics, and 3PL
- Experience in continuous improvement efforts in a mid-size seasonal manufacturing company
- Knowledge of production processes and quality control
- Experience with AS400 systems
