Job Summary
Manage the preventive maintenance program and oversee the Maintenance Department to maintain plant equipment and facilities in a safe, efficient condition. Develop objectives and standards for projects, analyze cost studies to reduce operating expenses, and coordinate repairs to minimize unscheduled downtime. Plan spare parts supply, consult on equipment modifications, and provide leadership and training to MRF Maintenance Technicians. Ensure inspections and corrective repairs meet company standards while coordinating facility operations with project engineers. Work the 3rd shift (10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday through Friday) with a base pay range of $86,000 to $106,000. This safety-sensitive role requires strict compliance with all protocols and may involve drug and alcohol testing.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. (accredited)
- 4 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement)
- Industrial/plant maintenance experience
- Must be able to strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols
- Must be subject to drug and alcohol testing including pre-employment screening, post-incident evaluations, reasonable suspicion checks, and random testing
