Industrial Plant Electrician – Night Shift (6PM–6AM)

Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, electronic, and PLC-based systems across the facility to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable equipment performance. Support packaging lines, networks, and connected hardware by using testing equipment, wiring diagrams, and software tools like Siemens and Allen-Bradley. Install and maintain electrical wiring and equipment per NEC and company standards while performing preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery. Escalate complex issues to technical support, assist with equipment installation and commissioning, and maintain accurate documentation and service reports. Follow all safety standards, including lockout/tagout procedures, and manage parts inventory as required. Work overtime or weekends when business needs demand.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of industrial electrical experience (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical prints
- Strong troubleshooting skills (electrical, electronic, PLC, industrial machinery)
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- PPE required
- Frequent standing and stooping
- Occasional lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs
- Night Shift: 6PM–6AM
- Overtime as needed
- Work overtime or weekends as business needs demand
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electrical Maintenance or Electrical Engineering preferred
