Job Summary
Develop and maintain production and material plans by loading customer demands into the Master Production Schedule and optimizing efficiency through workbench activities. Collaborate with team leaders, program managers, and buyers to ensure alignment, manage capacity planning processes, and lead regular production review meetings. Report on material availability, job progress, and inventory management while implementing corrective actions for identified risks. Support the team in meeting sales goals of over £205 million and develop innovative solutions to process challenges. You will join a supportive team of eight Operations Planners and assistants in a manufacturing environment focused on defence, space, aerospace, and digital security.
Required Qualifications
- Strong MRP II planning skills
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with ERP systems
- Exceptional communication skills
- Analytical skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Familiarity with complex bills of material
- Familiarity with routings
