Industrial Pipefitter

Job Summary
Plan and organize pipefitting projects using blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specifications. Measure, cut, bend, shape, fabricate, thread, solder, and glue piping components to install, modify, and insulate industrial systems. Calculate material requirements, coordinate installation activities with affected departments, and perform operating and pressure tests. Diagnose and repair leaks, failures, and issues in steam systems, valves, and related equipment. Maintain tools through preventive care, document work orders, and communicate conditions to leadership. First shift 5 10's, 100% in-office in Cincinnati, Ohio. Partner with trak group to support a growing manufacturing client.
Required Qualifications
- Previous industrial pipefitting, mechanical maintenance, or related experience
- Strong knowledge of industrial piping systems and layouts
- Experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, piping prints, blueprints, and specifications
- Hands-on experience with steam systems and associated piping components
- Understanding of relief valves and general valve maintenance practices
- Ability to safely operate pipefitting, fabrication, and maintenance equipment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to calculate material requirements and perform accurate measurements
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a maintenance and operations team
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality
- 100% In-Office
- First Shift 5 10's
Desired Qualifications
- Pipe welding experience
- Experience in an industrial manufacturing or processing facility
- Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on steam and process piping
- Additional welding, fabrication, or mechanical maintenance skills
