Job Summary
Industrial Painter responsible for deburring, washing, and preparing cylinders and components for paint; spray painting of cylinders with primers, epoxy, and CARC coatings; surface preparation including removing old paint, rust, grease, and debris; masking and protection of non-painted parts; paint mixing per manufacturer specs; quality inspection of painted cylinders and correction of runs, sags, and unpainted areas; ensure safe operation of all equipment and compliance with PPE and hazardous materials regulations; maintain clean, safe work area; reading basic blueprints and using tape measure/calipers; physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds; 40-hour work week; high school diploma or GED required; prior industrial painting experience required; CARC painting experience preferred; equal employment opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent
- Prior industrial painting experience
- Ability to read basic blueprints
- Ability to read a tape measure and calipers
- Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Mechanical background
- CARC painting experience preferred
