Job Summary
Clean, sand, and grind surfaces to prepare them for painting, then operate and maintain equipment to apply liquid and powder coats per YCENA standards. Transport, load, and unload parts while documenting all paint processes accurately. Use tools including pressure washers, air nozzles, paint guns, and sandpaper to ensure quality and safety. Work independently in a full-time, Monday-through-Thursday schedule in Grand Rapids, MN, with a starting wage of $22.81 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Six+ months' related experience and/or training
- An ability to work independently
- Exceptional eye for detail
- Related technical ability and good understanding of paint processes and equipment
- Strong orientation toward quality, safety, and continuous improvement
- Excellent problem-solving skills, judgment, and decision-making skills
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve problems quickly
- Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects at one time, handle stress, and work under deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Candidates with experience in powder coat, industrial painting or auto body painting
