Job Summary
Paint large generator enclosures and base tanks; clean surfaces prior to painting; maintain and ensure working condition of related equipment; dispose of chemical waste safely; uphold high safety standards; apply various painting techniques based on surface type; use safety goggles and other equipment; measure paint quantity and texture with viscosity cups and thickness gauges; remove old paint with masking or chemical rinse; paint small items and perform touch-ups; ensure proper ventilation after painting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience painting a variety of surface types
- Proficiency with technical machinery
- Physical strength to operate machinery
- Knowledge of a wide variety of painting tools
- Diligence and attention to detail
- Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Good organizational skills
- Good verbal communication
