Job Summary
Prepare and maintain paint coatings, spray booth equipment, and systems, including cleaning, sanding, priming, and painting custom machined part surfaces for rugged forestry applications. Apply paint using spray equipment, adjust nozzles for proper flow, and monitor surfaces to correct flaws like blisters or streaks. Remove grease, dirt, and rust with abrasives, solvents, or sandblasters, then sand between coats to ensure adhesion. Disassemble and clean sprayers and power equipment, safely operate overhead cranes, and ensure proper waste disposal. Follow safety protocols and wear prescribed personal protective equipment. Work collaboratively with production team members to meet goals and timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Exposure to apprenticeship programs, classroom instruction or industrial painting experience
- Willingness and desire to learn

- Familiarity with spray guns, sanders and other industrial painting tools
