Job Summary
Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking; operate powder coating equipment including spray guns and curing ovens to apply coatings evenly. Inspect finished parts for quality defects and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance. Follow safety protocols, track production data, and assist in troubleshooting coating issues while adhering to company standards. Work night shift from 2:30pm to 11:00pm. This role contributes to architectural glass and building products used across hospitals, stadiums, and universities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical drawings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Familiarity with safety standards in a manufacturing environment
- Manual dexterity and precision
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Night shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm
