Job Summary
Industrial Painter role focused on applying finishing coats to metal parts using wet spray techniques and other painting methods. Responsibilities include painting to blueprints/customer specs, setting up and maintaining the work area, operating painting equipment per safety procedures, ensuring coatings meet quality and on-time goals, loading/unloading parts onto fixtures, maintaining clean work areas and equipment, inspecting paint jobs, and adjusting colors to fix defects. Experience with epoxy paint and airless spray equipment is a plus; familiarity with epoxy and zinc is also noted as beneficial. Physical requirements include prolonged standing, lifting up to 45 lb with assistance, and exposure to dust, vapors, and variable temperatures. Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience as an Industrial Painter in a Manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with epoxy paint is a plus
- Experience with Airless paint sprayers
- Ability to stand/walk 95% of the workday
- Carry/Lift up to 45 pounds with assistance of cranes and/or coworkers
- Squat, twist, reach, climb, and bend frequently
- Push/pull up to 75 pounds with assistance of cranes or coworkers
- Exposure to dust, vapors, and other air contaminants. PPE required
