Job Summary
Prepare metal surfaces and apply standard finishes, including paint and metalizing, to machined parts and steel bridge beams. Read prints, specification tables, and adjustable layout instruments to apply specified coatings to cross members. Spray gun experience is desired, as is sandblasting or powder coating background. Shift runs Monday through Thursday from 8:30 pm to 7:00 am with a 25% shift differential for 3rd shift coworkers. Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED)
- The ability to work from prints, specification tables and with adjustable layout and measuring instruments
- The ability to apply specified coatings to steel bridge beams and cross members
- Monday - Thursday: 8:30 pm to 7:00 am
Desired Qualifications
- Previous painting experience, using spray gun
- Sandblasting or powder coating experience
