Job Summary
Prepare metal surfaces and apply standard finishes, including paint and metalizing, to machined parts and steel bridge beams. Work from prints, specification tables, and adjustable layout instruments to apply specified coatings to cross members. Utilize spray guns for painting tasks and sandblasting or powder coating techniques as needed. Shift runs Monday through Thursday from 8:30 pm to 7:00 am with a 25% differential for 3rd shift staff. High School Diploma or GED required; previous painting experience desired. Join a team supporting complex infrastructure projects across North America.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED)
- The ability to work from prints, specification tables and with adjustable layout and measuring instruments
- The ability to apply specified coatings to steel bridge beams and cross members
- Monday - Thursday: 8:30 pm to 7:00 am
Desired Qualifications
- Previous painting experience, using spray gun
- Sandblasting or powder coating experience
