Job Summary
Review schedule and prioritize daily work to paint and blast technical equipment while maintaining safety standards. Manage inventory levels, prepare requisitions for re-stocking, and design work methods to increase productivity. Organize and maintain the paint booth and blast area, safely dispose of waste, and perform masking, viscosity mixing, and spraying duties. Assist the Logistics Department as needed. This role supports Senior Flexonics Pathway's manufacturing of metal expansion joints and damper products for global aerospace and defense markets.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a similar role
- Formal training in industrial painting
- Specialized knowledge of industrial painting techniques and tools
- painting with inorganic zinc based paints
- water based zinc paints
- epoxy
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
- good organizational and communication skills
- ability to work well with external and internal customers
- Able to read and interpret drawings
- follow work instructions
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- use basic hand held measuring tools
