Job Summary
Industrial Painter/Blaster operates spray-painting and blasting equipment to safely apply protective coatings to manufactured components. This role leads and engages the company to achieve manufacturing goals focused on Safety, Quality, On-Time Delivery, Budget, and People. Duties include preparing surfaces, blasting and surface prep, mixing and applying coatings (primer, paint, lacquer, enamel, metallic solutions), moving and staging items, interpreting OEM instructions and work orders, and touching up surfaces. Requires 2+ years in rigging or industrial material handling, knowledge of paint equipment and systems, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Required Qualifications
- Certificate in industrial blasting and painting or 3+ years of practical experience in industrial blasting and painting applications and systems
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
- Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods in an office and/or industrial environment
- 2+ years of work experience in rigging or industrial material handling
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of paint equipment and related systems
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment
