Job Summary
Spray and apply hand-held and airless coatings to metal and other surfaces, preparing materials and structures for paint, laminate, or rubber coverage. Operate conventional spray equipment, clean or prepare interior and exterior product surfaces using hand tools or blast processes, and respray items that do not meet customer specifications. Repair paint equipment by replacing tips, hoses, and pump filters, while inspecting work and completing quality and production documents. Train fellow employees and assist in meeting deadlines, maintaining attendance within acceptable standards. This role may require coverage beyond normal hours, shifts, and weekends/holidays in a plant environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Read, write, and speak proficiently in English

- Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures
- Ability to tolerate loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant

- Ability to work on holidays
- Be aware of and observe all safety practices
- Know and follow all safety rules and procedures
- Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Experience: 3 Years
- Ability to operate plural component pumps
- Ability to operate wet film gage
- Ability to operate environmental gages
