Job Summary
Industrial Painter (2nd shift, 3PM-11PM) at FS-Elliott. Prepare surfaces by cleaning and sanding, apply primers and industrial coatings with spray guns, rollers, or brushes, inspect finish for thickness and coverage, maintain equipment, and follow safety and environmental regulations. Document completed work, collaborate with production teams to meet deadlines, and operate on second shift onsite in Export, PA or Pittsburgh, PA. Requires at least 2 years of industrial painting experience, knowledge of coatings and surface prep techniques (e.g., sandblasting, power washing), ability to operate spray equipment, and a high school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus). This role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and physical tasks such as standing for long periods and lifting/bending.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of industrial painting experience
- Knowledge of industrial coatings and surface preparation techniques (e.g., sandblasting, power washing)
- Ability to safely operate spray equipment and painting tools
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and climbing
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training is a plus
