Job Summary
Industrial Outside Sales Representative in Northeast/Central Wisconsin and Upper Michigan responsible for field-based sales growth with ~80% travel. Build and manage a sales pipeline, generate leads, and pursue new business opportunities through calls, emails, and meetings. Present tailored solutions, negotiate pricing and terms, and close profitable deals while maintaining long-lasting relationships with engineering, purchasing, and operations contacts. Use product knowledge to articulate value, leverage sales enablement tools, analyze performance trends, and adapt to market and supply-chain changes. Expect to work Monday–Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with extensive travel to customer sites and VAC facilities, and mentor less-tenured teammates.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of successful sales experience
- 2+ years of industrial hydraulic fluid power sales experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel extensively
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Technological proficiency with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Teams
- Proven ability to generate revenue in new markets
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends
- Willingness to mentor less-tenured team members and share industry knowledge
