Job Summary
The Adjunct Faculty Member in IO Psychology is responsible for teaching courses, crafting course syllabi, and delivering approved curricula while fostering a rich learning environment. Responsibilities include serving on thesis committees, mentoring graduate students, and collaborating on course development. Required qualifications include a terminal doctoral degree in Psychology, 1-2 years of college teaching experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to social justice and diversity. Preferred qualifications include course design experience and relevant certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Terminal doctoral degree in Psychology or a related discipline
- At least 1-2 years of experience in university/college level teaching
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to socially responsible practice and social justice issues
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in course designing, developing, and implementing training materials
- Strong command of presentation software(s) and technology
- CPHR and/or SHRM designation or candidate preferred
- Commitment to building a diverse community
- Strong proficiency in community-engaged scholarship
- Strong research acumen and abilities
