Job Summary
The Industrial Millwright role involves troubleshooting equipment problems, performing repairs and preventative maintenance, and overhauling and installing new equipment. Candidates should possess a red-seal Interprovincial Millwright Ticket and have 1 to 3 years of related experience. Key responsibilities include fabricating parts, generating parts requests, completing work orders, and maintaining tools and work areas. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and CMMS systems is essential. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Completion and Possession of a red-seal Interprovincial Millwright Ticket.
- 1 to 3 years related experience preferred.
- Ability to operate machinery and have basic computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Good attendance and safety record.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a food processing & cooking facility is an asset.
- Able to work flexible shifts.
- Be success-driven and have a “can-do” attitude.
- High degree of flexibility and adaptability to take up additional duties and cross-train.
