Job Summary
Industrial Millwright role focusing on keeping converting and production equipment safe, reliable, and efficient. Responsibilities include daily inspections, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems (power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum), aligning and maintaining pumps, fans, conveyors and converting equipment, fabricating replacement parts via machine shop tools (lathe, mill, grinder), handling planned maintenance and emergency breakdowns, maintaining accurate logs and service records, and promoting safety, teamwork, and clear communication across operations. Requires hands-on, safety-focused maintenance professional with strong troubleshooting, and completion of recognized apprenticeship with 433A certificate; PLC knowledge is a plus. Shift is continental rotation (12-hour shifts). Benefits after 3 months.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certificate (433A)
- completion of a recognized apprenticeship or trade program
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience in fabrication and ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Working knowledge of PLC systems considered an asset
- Flexibility to work in a shift-based (continental rotation) environment
