Job Summary
Maintain, repair, and replace mechanical components on plant equipment, including gauges, valves, regulators, and related parts; diagnose and service hydraulic and pneumatic systems; perform advanced pump-building and blower repairs; align equipment with dial indicators; rig and move machinery safely; perform light welding, grinding, and fabrication; read blueprints and schematics; document work in the work order system; operate lifts as required; participate in daily equipment inspections and adhere to EHS policies. This industrial maintenance role at Tradebe’s Millington, TN facility requires 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, MIG welding (stick welding preferred), and a willingness to pursue formal training for mechanic/millwright development; a basic tool set and valid driver’s license are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three to five years of industrial maintenance experience
- MIG Welding; Stick welding preferred
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and sketches
- Ability to perform minor repairs on rotating and reciprocating equipment; assemble/disassemble
- Basic tools required
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to participate in company-sponsored training
- Experience with carpentry and welding is a plus
