Job Summary
Adjunct/temporary part-time instructor sought to teach courses in the Industrial Engineering Technician program (e.g., Fundamentals of AC/DC Electricity I & II, Print Reading, Mechanical Fundamentals). Courses are scheduled on campus with some blended formats. Responsibilities include delivering instruction, participating in a student-centered and interdisciplinary learning community, and contributing to curriculum development and active/experiential learning approaches. Requires a two-year industrial mechanics and maintenance technology diploma and several years of related work experience; teaching experience and commitment to diversity are preferred. Required Qualifications
- Two year diploma from an industrial mechanics and maintenance technology program
- Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in industrial mechanics and maintenance technology
- One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field; waiver if two years of postsecondary teaching experience within last five years
