Industrial Mechanic w/ Electrical

Job Summary
Repairs and maintains plastic molding machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, hydraulics, conveyor systems, electrical devices and production machines. Uses hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing equipment. Reads blueprints, schematics, and diagrams. Follows safety policies and PPE requirements; performs preventive maintenance; repairs basic mechanical components; observes device operation to locate issues; dismantles devices for access; lubricates and cleans equipment; completes work orders to improve safety, reliability, downtime, scrap and plant efficiency; adheres to Lockout/Tagout; troubleshoots to identify root causes; repairs to improve production availability; analyzes delay codes; coordinates with resources; ensures maintenance documentation; sources and requisitions maintenance supplies within budget; performs other related duties.
Required Qualifications
- Three to five years of work experience in a manufacturing plant as a Maintenance Mechanic or Technician
- Knowledge and experience working with high-speed equipment and electric-pneumatic controls
- Able to use both a MIG welder, and ARC welder
- Able to order parts and maintain inventory of all maintenance-related material
- Advanced working knowledge on mechanical/electrical systems and components; including Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Pumps, Gear Boxes, Power Transmission, Material Handling, Sensor, Transmitters, DC and AC circuits, Transformers, Power and Energy, Arc Flash
- Working knowledge and experience on Automation; Industrial Process and Control system; PLC; Measuring Devices; Instrumentation; Robotic Application; Bulk Handling System
- Working knowledge and experience on Facility Maintenance (Roof, Dock, plumbing) and Plant Equipment (Boiler, Air Compressors, Ammonia/Freon/Glycol Refrigeration, HVAC, Ventilation, Cooling Tower, Condenser, Backflow preventer, Sprinkler and Fire Extinguisher, Wastewater System, ...)
- Planning, scheduling & assigning ability while well experienced in defining priorities, required skills & resources
- Hold practical knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Multitasked in a fast-paced environment with lots of changes in direction bases business requirement
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to work collaboratively and effectively with other departments.
