Job Summary
Industrial Mechanic/Maintenance Technician for Techo-Bloc with hands-on responsibility for repairing and maintaining heavy industrial equipment. Responsibilities include inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and/or replacing mechanical components (motors, gear boxes, drive chains, belts, pulleys, rollers, etc.), troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems, performing stick welding in various positions, providing emergency/unscheduled repairs to minimize downtime, aligning and replacing components on conveyors, disassembling/reassembling wear parts, referencing electrical schematics, and documenting preventative maintenance. Requires 3+ years in heavy industrial maintenance, proficiency with power tools and measurement devices, experience with bearing heaters and gear boxes, welding and fabrication skills, basic understanding of motor controls, PLCs, and VFDs, CMMS experience, rigging/hoisting, and willingness to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends.
