Job Summary
Industrial Millwright Mechanic responsible for diagnosing equipment issues, repairing mechanical failures on processing and packaging equipment, and performing preventive and predictive maintenance to support line efficiency. Maintains shift logs and maintenance records, improves line performance through proactive maintenance, works with maintenance and production teams, and ensures compliance with safety, food-safety, and company standards. Requires Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) certification and at least two years of maintenance experience; proficient in reading manuals/drawings/blueprints and in pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems; comfortable with 12-hour shifts and tools management; able to operate forklift and welding tasks as needed. Must supply basic hand tools and communicate professionally; physical duties include heavy lifting and working in variable conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) certification
- Minimum of two years of maintenance experience and certification as an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, SDS, mechanical drawings, and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems
- Commitment to safe work practices and hazard awareness
