Job Summary
Repair, install, adjust, or maintain industrial production and processing machinery to keep equipment compliant with regulations and meet production goals. Duties include repairing/replacing components, disassembling/reassembling machinery, diagnosing malfunctions with testing devices, testing and proving repaired equipment, cleaning and lubricating parts, examining components for defects, programming computer-controlled machinery, recording parts/materials used and repairs, studying blueprints/manuals, cutting/welding metal to fabricate parts, and ensuring safe operation. Must have 2 years of industrial maintenance experience; FDA-regulated manufacturing environment experience; ability to lift 50 lbs, stand and move; and proficiency with CMMS and Windows. This is a 2nd shift role with rotating weekend shifts; overtime may be required.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Must have a mechanical knowledge of machines and tools
- Must have working knowledge of mathematics
- Must be skilled in equipment maintenance, repairs, operation monitoring, troubleshooting, quality control analysis, and problem solving
- English language — able to read and comprehend detailed instructions and communicate technical concepts
- Basic computer skills including Windows and CMMS
