Job Summary
Assist in preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical issues, and perform basic repairs on industrial equipment, machinery, and facility systems. Repair and replace worn components including bearings, belts, chains, motors, and conveyors, while maintaining accurate maintenance records and completing work orders. Operate tools, maintenance equipment, and mobile machinery such as forklifts and skid-steer loaders safely. Participate in emergency repairs, after-hours activities, and facility maintenance projects while following all safety policies and OSHA regulations. Work an 8-12-hour shift with occasional overtime and weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and a trade school diploma/certificate or an associate degree in a related field
- Manual dexterity to use hand and power tools correctly and safely
- Ability to work an 8-12-hour shift
- Ability to work overtime and occasional weekend work
- Good planning and organizational skills
