Job Summary
The Industrial Mechanic III will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repairs of manufacturing machines, tools, equipment, and utility systems. The role includes ensuring equipment documentation is maintained, leading preventative maintenance and repairs, scheduling daily resources based on maintenance activities, and collaborating with Engineering and Management on project planning. The position also involves mentoring junior team members, maintaining a critical parts list, and preparing maintenance reports. Essential qualifications include a High School Diploma, 5+ years of maintenance experience, electrical and mechanical knowledge, and proficiency in reading blueprints.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- 5+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is required
- Electrical and Mechanical knowledge regarding production/facility equipment is required
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints is required
- Working knowledge of common power and hand tools is required
- Metal fabrication skills to repair, modify, and build fixtures and equipment are required
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic Math skills
- Problem solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office
Desired Qualifications
- PLC programming experience is a plus
- Experience with electrical maintenance repair including low and high voltage equipment is required
- Flexibility to work an altered schedule as needed, to accommodate business needs
