Job Summary
Industrial Mechanic II at Sibelco leads maintenance of facility machinery, performing mechanical work on conveyors, replacing bearings and belts, cleaning and replacing pneumatic valves on optical sorting machines, and conducting PMs/repairs on equipment like bucket elevators, screw conveyors, forklifts, loaders, and sweepers. The role requires collaboration with mechanics and supervisors across shifts, strong familiarity with conveyors and automation (PLC) and lean manufacturing/continuous improvement, with a path to contribute to production reliability and safety. Required Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Electronic experience preferred
- Strong experience with mechanical conveyors
- Glass processing knowledge a plus
- PLC experience a plus
