Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, adjustments, alignments, and servicing of conveyors, grinders, shredders, vibrating tables, hydraulic systems, and presses. Diagnose mechanical issues, breakdowns, and failures; inspect for wear, repair or replace defective parts, and test repaired equipment to verify performance. Assist in troubleshooting to improve equipment efficiency, carry out installation and upgrades, and complete work orders. Inform the immediate supervisor of required actions, detected issues, or time overruns while maintaining a clean, safe work environment in compliance with health and safety policies. This permanent, full-time evening shift runs Monday through Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. with evening shift premium and overtime after 40 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in maintenance, repair, and adjustment of mechanical equipment such as conveyors, grinders, shredders, vibrating tables, hydraulic systems, and presses
- Ability to diagnose mechanical issues, breakdowns, and failures, and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Skilled in testing repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with standards
- Ability to collaborate on problem-solving to improve equipment efficiency and functionality
- Knowledge of safety protocols, including workplace cleanliness, compliance with health and safety (SST) regulations, and safe work practices
- Permanent position, full-time
- Evening schedule: Monday to Thursday, 1:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
- Evening shift premium
- Overtime after 40 hours
