Job Summary
Apply material and operate equipment while following standard operating procedures for product application. Perform basic maintenance to keep all machinery in working order with a clean appearance. Actively participate in sustainable improvement processes including 5S, Kaizen, Total Productive Maintenance, and Daily Management Control. Maintain a strong focus on satisfying the customer and uphold a positive profile with all stakeholders. This Steel Mill Laborer role at Minteq requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds while working swing shifts in Mansfield, OH. Starting rate is $20 per hour with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k match, and life insurance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to speak and read English
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (or more in certain shops)
- Ability to withstand the physical pressures of constant standing, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, sitting, extremes of hot and cold, as well as carrying, lifting, pushing and pulling heavy objects
- Must wear all required safety gear
- Must be able to speak and read English
