Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering Expert in chemical manufacturing with a Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field and at least 1-2 years of production experience. Role includes operating machinery and participating in chemical reactions with a focus on maintaining high-quality work standards and assisting with process improvements. Ability to lift heavy materials and work flexible shifts required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or other scientific discipline
- 1-2 years of experience in a production environment preferred OR Associate degree with 5+ years large scale chemical manufacturing experience
- 2-3 years of working in a similar environment preferred
- 1+ year production experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with customer interaction
- Knowledge of Process Improvement methodology (e.g., PDSA, Lean Manufacturing, and/or Six Sigma)
- Ability to operate powered industrial equipment, Reactor systems, Industrial centrifuges and dryers, Ion exchange columns, and DCS systems
- SAP, Word, Excel, Access experience a plus
